French Excavating Corp. in Billerica, Mass.The 48,000 SF maintenance facility includes 10 drive-through maintenance bays, three high equipment bays with five-ton and 10-ton overhead cranes, truck tire carousel, diesel filter cleaning system, truck and heavy equipment wash bay, parts storage and service management offices. The 12,000 SF office building features a fitness center, meeting spaces, and collaborative workspaces for W. L. French’s 250 employees. ABC has added Massachusetts Chapter member Brian Renaud of The Contractors Plan to the Beam Club Presidential level and Greater Houston Chapter member Terry Buza of Slack & Co. Contracting Inc. to the Beam Club Hall of Fame level.
The Beam Club was established in 1966 to recognize ABC’s top membership recruiters for their commitment to growing the association. By recruiting five new members, ABC members are automatically enrolled in the Beam Club by their chapter. Members receive one point for each new member recruited. Beam Club activity is ongoing from year to year, with members’ point totals continually accruing and advancing members to the next Beam Club award level.
To reach the Presidential level of the Beam Club, ABC members must recruit between 25 and 49 new members. To reach the Hall of Fame level of the Beam Club, ABC members must recruit between 50 and 99 new members.

WESTPORT, MA – Metro Walls is excited to announce that Jeff Stupalski has taken on the role of estimator for their new South Shore office. Jeff will be working with General Manager Jay Rocha and their team is ready to take on any size job from the South Shore to Rhode Island.
Jeff started his career in the field and comes to Metro with over ten years of industry expertise. “I think my field experience made for an easy transition to the office. I know both sides and that’s key to understanding the business,” said Jeff on what makes him a good fit for this role.
As an estimator, Jeff is responsible for qualifying bids, pricing materials, and working with contractors. He prides himself on getting proposals out in a timely manner and on following up with his potential customers. He feels that these two practices are what makes an exceptional estimator.

The American Heritage Museum was one of 18 winning projects in the main categories of ENR New England’s Best Project contest. The museum, located in Hudson, MA, was recognized in the cultural/worship category. The awards ceremony was held on December 11th at the Hyatt Regency in Boston. The design-build construction of the 65,000 sf museum displays the United States’ largest private collection of vehicles from the country’s past military conflicts. More than 48,000 sf of central exhibit space was built to house vehicles, artifacts, murals, and maps, with elevated viewing mezzanines spanning the entire area.
