With the new federal infrastructure law providing billions of local funding over the coming years, it is a good time to review prevailing wage compliance requirements for contractors performing federal and state public construction. Proper compliance is essential, as there are significant penalties involved. There are also particular wage rates and other requirements for both federal and state projects, and contractors need to be aware of what is required for each, including areas where requirements differ. We will be joined by officials from the U.S. Department of Labor and the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office to review federal and state compliance. There will be an opportunity for questions with both officials. The program will be moderated by Atty. Paul Lane, who has significant experience with prevailing wage laws.
