ABC MA has extended the deadline for completing the Diversity Survey until June 20th! Based on the responses thus far, we believe we will have valuable information to share with members. We ask that you share the anonymous and confidential survey with employees throughout your organization and encourage them to take part so we have as much data and information as possible.
Please be assured that all individual responses and are completely anonymous and confidential. The survey does not ask for company-level identifiable information and there is no way for the survey to collect any personally identifiable information. Additionally, the survey is conducted through an independent third-party resource that will review and analyze the data to maintain anonymity and confidentiality.
The omnibus survey results will be complied to provide best practices for members, while also exemplifying how ABC members excel in this space.
The survey results will benefit members in multiple ways, including:
● Workforce Development Initiatives
● Providing a roadmap for attracting and retaining diverse talent
● Methods for creating a more inclusive workplace
● Helping members meet or exceed workforce participation goals for public and private projects
● Participating in the survey is a tangible action companies can report in responding to public or private owner DEI requirements.
The survey takes approximately 7-13 minutes to complete, and is available in English, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese. The anonymous data collected from this survey will be compiled, analyzed, and then shared with members.
ABC Massachusetts was the only construction association awarded a grant to fund such a survey, and we are excited about the potential to use it to assist ABC member firms and help us create a standard from which to compare results over time. The success of the effort depends on maximizing responses.
