ABC member firm DECCO, Inc. joined with the family of Tim Barton to hold  a celebration of life on Sunday, July 18 in his honor at the Alpine Grove Banquet Facility in Hollis, NH.  Barton was  a principal at DECCO and a former leader, mentor, and friend of ABC and the Gould Construction Institute, who passed away in June of 2020.

Tim was active in both ABC MA and ABC NH/VT.  For the Massachusetts Chapter, Tim served on the ABC MA Board of Directors and was a longtime member of the Gould Construction Institute Board of Trustees, where he served as chairman.  He also served on the Board of the ABC Workers Compensation Self-Insurance Group.  He mentored five DECCO apprentices to first-place finishes in the pipefitting competition at the National ABC Craft Competition.  He was remembered by family, colleagues and friends as a unique person whose concern for others was unmatched.

We want to thank the entire Barton family and DECCO for putting on such a fantastic event to honor a man that was so important to ABC during his time.
