The Electrical Board met on October 22nd at Southeastern Regional Vocational School in South Easton, MA. In addition to regular board meeting attendees, there were vocational high school electrical students in the audience. The following occurred during the meeting:

• The Board reviewed and explained the purpose and functions of the Electrical Board as well as offer career advancement suggestions to help the students once they graduate
• DPL has stopped issuing electrical permits in Merrimack Valley as of 10/5/18 in the areas affected by Columbia Gas due to a duplication in efforts with the towns and is now on standby if the towns need any assistance in processing. 
• The board has reached out to MAVA and Local 103 to find off site meeting locations for next year
