With the first Intro. to CM class wrapping up on August 27, it is clear based on student feedback that the class was well-received and that there is a strong interest in additional GCI/Wentworth collaborations.   “I have found that the PM program with Wentworth has provided me with real world examples and information I can use in my daily work activities.  I look forward to continuing my education with GCI/Wentworth,” said one student.

The final aspect of the class involved students making presentations to the group.  According to GCI Executive Director Barbara Lagergren, the caliber of the students’ work was extremely impressive.  “Watching our students exhibit so much talent and enthusiasm in their presentations, it really left me feeling very positive about the future of our industry,” she said.

The Introduction to Construction Management class will be offered again beginning 9/24/08.  In addition, a new GCI/Wentworth certificate program, in which students will earn Wentworth college credits, will commence in October.  This program is designed to be the next step for students completing the “intro” class.  For more information, please contact GCI at 781-270-9990.
