On Thursday, February 28th, ABC hosted a Meet the Generals Night that enables representatives from our subcontractor member firms to meet with key personnel from ten of our most active and successful general contractor firms. We’ve allocated 70 slots (no more than 2 individuals per company) for subcontractors to ask all the questions they want to know about a particular GC. Subs will have a chance to learn first-hand about a general’s business philosophy, bid qualifications and what projects they might have in their pipeline. In addition, subcontractors will have an opportunity to educate general contractors about some intricate and complex projects they may have completed in the past that might make them an ideal candidate for future work. Over the course of the 2 ½ hour program, specialty contractors will rotate among the GC tables and ask and share as much as they can in a limited amount of time.
