Excellence in Construction Awards

A total of 14 Excellence in Construction Awards were handed out at the presentation a the Seaport World Trade Center on November 18, 2008. Six first place “Eagle” awards and eight “Merit” awards were presented, and winning projects ran the gamut of the industry’s market segments. Winning categories included: Renovation,Pre-Engineered Building, Public Works, Historical Restoration, Mechanical, Electrical, and Commercial/Institutional. Also presented was the ABCMA “Spirit” award, which went to Cutler Associates, Inc. for using the most ABCMA member companies on its winning project.

Thirteen members of ABC were honored for the tremendous work that they have done. Projects ranged from a new dormitory to a new surgical center. Our members consistently undertake projects which improve communities and the lives of their residents. Over 240 members attended the festivities at the Seaport. Prior to the ceremony, ABC held a cocktail reception for ABC members, as well as attendees of the Build Boston event. New relationships were forged and new projects devised. We thank each of them for their dedication and hard work that made the night a success. We are pleased to list award winning members and their projects.
